  荧光增白剂OB适用塑料及其他的应用范围较广,且相融性较OB-1好,在PP中可以多与OB-1的用量而不析出。可用于热塑性塑料、聚氯乙烯、聚苯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、ABS、醋酸纤维、油漆、涂料、印刷油漆等的增白,增白剂 OB用于各加工阶段中的聚合物增白,可赋予加工品明亮蓝白色光泽。

  在很多行业中OB和OB-1可以混用,一是可以增加蓝白光的比重,二是可以避免因放置时间长导致增白剂析出,如增白色母粒的生产基本都是两者混用,比例大约为1:3.两者孰优孰劣要看具体的应用行业,更为环保的是OB,现在越来越多的行业会尝试使用它,但是荧光强度不高,耐温度会受到限制,用于再生料作用不太明显,这样一来,荧光增白剂OB-1显示了它的不可替代性。
